The Middleton Place Foundation presents a glimpse of leisure and sport activities from centuries past with a full day of special interactive programs. Visitors to Middleton Place would have engaged in a wide variety of activities to pass the time, from fine needlework, to croquet and cricket, to dancing and taking in a circus performance!
Schedule of Events:
10:00?4:00 – Garden Stroll, visit with painters, other stationed interpreters
10:00?10:45 – Cricket Game
11:00?11:45 – 18th Century Country Dance

**Activities available throughout the day: presentations on "The Tradition of Tea" and fine needlework/embroidery/lace making, croquet games, colonial games for kids (stilts, hoop roll, graces), interacting with a variety of costumed interpreters around the property.
For those who book and pay in advance will receive the educational group rate of $11 per student and $12 per adult.
