This year's graduation will take place on Friday, May 8, 2026 at 7pm.
Cost: $100 for first graduate and $50 for each additional graduate.
Mid-Michigan Homeschool Graduation is sponsored by Christian Home Educators Support System (CHESS). Even though this is sponsored by CHESS, you do not have to be a CHESS member to participate. Graduation is open to any homeschool senior in Mid-Michigan who has met their parents' requirements for high school graduation.
We do ask that you agree with CHESS' Statement of Faith.
Why should you consider Mid-Michigan Home School Graduation for your senior? We believe it will provide an opportunity for your senior to graduate in a group setting, while at the same time reflecting the uniqueness of your individual home school. This ceremony will be an opportunity to bring honor and dignity to each of the graduates, but most importantly to glorify the Lord and thank Him for his faithfulness. It will be made up of group elements representing unity (such as a class verse and class motto/quote) and individual elements (student speeches given by a few) reflecting each student's unique personality.
Each family, as a home school, issues its own diploma to students upon meeting graduation requirements; diplomas are not provided by CHESS. Parents of graduates will present the diploma to their graduate and offer a personal blessing. Each student may add a photo and details on achievements, skills, and future plans to the printed program. As a group, the graduates will represent the Mid-Michigan homeschool community to their friends and family who are present.

October 23, 2025 - Meeting - 6:30 pm (South Church)
February 19, 2026 - Meeting - 6:30 pm
April 14, 2026 - Final Meeting - 6:30 pm Cap/gown/diploma pick up
May 7, 2026 - Rehearsal - 6:00 pm
May 8, 2026 – Graduation 7:00 pm

For Non-Members - Payment is due immediately
For CHESS Members - Your registration fee is due no later than February 28, 2026. If you do not pay by that date, you will not be able to participate in the graduation ceremony.
