This year's graduation will take place on Friday, May 14, 2027, 7 - 9 pm.
Mid-Michigan Homeschool Graduation is sponsored by Christian Home Educators Support System (CHESS). Even though this is sponsored by CHESS, you do not have to be a CHESS member to participate. Graduation is open to any homeschool senior in Mid-Michigan who has met their parents' requirements for high school graduation.
We do ask that you agree with CHESS' Statement of Faith.
Why should you consider Mid-Michigan Homeschool Graduation for your senior? We believe it will provide an opportunity for your senior to graduate in a group setting, while at the same time reflecting the uniqueness of your individual homeschool. This ceremony will be an opportunity to bring honor and dignity to each of the graduates, but most importantly to glorify the Lord and thank Him for his faithfulness. It will be made up of group elements representing unity (such as a class verse and class motto/quote) and individual elements (student speeches given by a few) reflecting each student's unique personality.
Each family, as a homeschool, issues its own diploma to students upon meeting graduation requirements; diplomas are not provided by CHESS. Parents of graduates will present the diploma to their graduate and offer a personal blessing. Each student may add a photo and details on achievements, skills, and future plans to the printed program. As a group, the graduates will represent the Mid-Michigan homeschool community to their friends and family who are present.
Cost:
Priority registration is $100 per graduate until January 7, 2027 (Payment must be received by end of day.)
Regular registration is $125 per graduate from January 8 until February 4, 2027 (Payment must be received by end of day.)
**If payment is not received by the registration deadline, your price will adjust to the new rate. Refunds are available until February 4th if you decide not to participate. Registration with payment must be received by February 4 or you will not be able to participate in the graduation ceremony.**
For Non-Members - payment is due immediately. You will not be able to access your registration later so payment MUST be made before leaving the screen. Graduation registration is not complete until payment is made.
