Mrs. Hannah Brenneman

Hannah Brenneman has enjoyed working with children since she was young girl and is currently employed as a part-time nanny. She is happily married to Jonathan and the momma to an adorable puppy named Georgia. 

Mrs. Ellen Campbell

Ellen Campbell received teaching certificates from the state of New Jersey and the state of Pennsylvania. She is a homeschool evaluator and has taught all ages of students in a wide variety of classrooms and other teaching situations for more than 35 years. She homeschooled her own children for 12 years. Ellen took Writing for Children and Teenagers and Writing Children’s Books from The Institute of Children’s Literature. She was a member of the San Diego County Christian Writers’ Guild and of Lancaster Christian Writers. Ellen has had a few articles published. She really enjoys teaching writing, literature, history, and civics courses. When she isn't teaching Ellen enjoys reading, gardening, cooking, taking walks, doing art, and playing with her young grandchildren.

Mr. Mark Campbell

Mark Campbell has Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Civil Engineering and is registered as a Professional Engineer in the state of Pennsylvania (retired PE in both California and New Jersey). He has experience teaching students at many age levels. After 30 years of engineering employment in NJ, CA, and PA, he formed a consulting Civil Engineering business in 2010 and frequently makes presentations to governmental decision-makers regarding planned development projects. Mark often teaches classes integrating faith and science. He has taught a number of subjects in the Sciences, Math, Computers, and Engineering at various Homeschool Co-ops since 2013.

Miss Ceinwyn Erb

Ceinwyn has been a homeschool student for her entire education and is now in her Senior Year. She has been at CHESS since the third grade, and though she enjoys almost all her academic work, her particular favorites have been History, Literature, Psychology, and Environmental Science. After graduating, Ceinwyn plans to attend Millersville University and major in Environmental Studies.
 

Mrs. Deborah Erb

Debby Erb earned an Honors B.A. in Development Studies from Brown University, concentrating her area of study in Political Science, Economics and History. After graduation she worked as a business analyst for Wimpey Minerals before resigning to homeschool her children. During nearly two decades of homeschooling she has also taught literature and Omnibus classes at Veritas Academy, and history and literature classes in co-ops.

 

Mrs. Anne Flinchbaugh

Anne Flinchbaugh Richey graduated from Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science(now Jefferson University)with a Bachelors of Science degree in Interior Design. She has worked at architecture and interior design firms prior to deciding to homeschool her 3 children. For the past 9 years Anne has enjoyed teaching at homeschool co-ops, designing and painting theatrical sets for homeschool productions and running a container gardening business. She attends Central Manor Church of God, likes to travel with her family, and collects cats and chickens

Mrs. Bev Graybill

Bev Graybill is very excited to return to CHESS after a 6-year break! She attended Millersville University, earning a B.S. in Special Education, a M.S. in Elementary Education, and a Reading Certificate. She has served as a home school evaluator in Pennsylvania since 1989 and has spent more than 20 years teaching at several home school co-ops including CHESS and several Christian schools. She is the proud mama of four grown children (three of which graduated from homeschooling) and the "grandmamma" to a pet pig!

Mrs. Celinda Kulp

Celinda Kulp was born in Texas but moved with her parents to Mexico at the age of 10, where she learned Spanish in everyday life with friends. She attended Columbia International University and completed a BS in Bible and Children's Education in the church. She taught her three children at home for 11 years while teaching Spanish to other students at a homeschool group. She has taught Spanish I, II, and III for almost 20 years to various groups. She also substituted as a Spanish instructor at Mount Calvary School in Elizabethtown, has tutored students in public and private schools and continues to visit Mexico at regular intervals.

 

Mrs. Heidi Mitchell

Heidi Mitchell has a B.S. in Nursing from Cedarville University in OH.  At Cedarville she met her husband Joel.  They have been married for 22 years, have 4 children, and have lived on the West Shore since getting married.  Before staying home to raise the children she worked as a nurse at Harrisburg Hospital.  She has homeschooled her children from the beginning with CHESS being a great asset to the home school journey for the past 6 years.  Heidi looks forward to inspiring young learners and watching to see where God takes them.

Mrs. Patti Mummau

Patti Mummau earned an Associate of Applied Science from Central PA College.  She is new to C.H.E.S.S. but she has had the opportunity to teach several Apologia science courses in a local homeschool co-op over the years.  Patti and her husband, Myke, have been homeschooling their six children for nine years and reside in Hummelstown.  She has a love for music, baking, being in nature, and raising her family to serve and love the Lord.

 

Mrs. Kate Mylin

Sam and Kate were married in 1992, but before our marriage, God gave them a ministry called Masterpiece Art. Where we Teach, Develop, Produce, and Serve with visual Art.

Over our almost 30 years of serving and doing Masterpiece God has taken us all over the world, as well as all over Lancaster County! Masterpiece Art is based on Ephesians 2:10, and our lessons have been used in places such as the Delaware Art Museum in Wilmington , DE, The Lancaster County Art Association in Strasburg, PA, the Lancaster YMCA, Arborplace at the Mix, Lancaster REC Senior Center, and more! Both have Homeschool in both PA and DE as well Co-Ops of Cornerstone, TEACH, CHEX, Livingstones, Parkesburg, Manhiem, Lititz, and the Delaware Art Museum since 1994.
 
Kate was born in Honesdale, PA ( the Poconos) and graduated from Wallenpaupack High School in 1983, Kutztown University in 1987, and moved to Lancaster County in 1989 in search of a church. She met Sam on a bus and never got off! She too has served along Sam in the above areas as well as helped develop Masterpiece Art Clubs and Camps, private lessons, and expanding Masterpiece into areas of healthy living!
Kate usually teaches the younger students as her degree is in early childhood, and teaches the same material on a whole different level! Kate is a great drawer, painter, potter, and mixed media! Her creations have won awards and hang in private collections throughout the world. TOGETHER this couple is a real Masterpiece!

Mr. Sam Mylin

Sam is a 1985 graduate of Antonelli Institute of Art and Photography, with 2 degrees in technical art. He is also a graduate of the TEE program ( Theological Education Extended) given through the Christian Missionary Alliance. He has won several awards through the LCAA, and other numerous art institutions, and lives in Willow Street, PA.
He was born April 21, 1961, and reborn August 22, 1987 and was an artist before he was reborn, gave it up to pursue who Jesus was, and God gave it back to him on August 22,1992!

Mrs. Kim Noss

Kim Noss earned a B.S. in Sign Language Interpreting from Bloomsburg University.  She worked as a freelance interpreter for 14 years.  Kim has been homeschooling her four children for 15 years and has taught classes, including elementary sign language, at a local home school co-op.  

Mrs. Allison Rishel

Allison Rishel received a B.S. in Economics at Lebanon Valley College, where she also studied Actuarial Science. She worked in the health insurance industry as a financial analyst before becoming a mother. Allison has tutored high school math students over the years, and has homeschooled her daughter since 2009. In addition to teaching at CHESS, she works part-time for the Pennsylvania Family Institute.

 

Mrs. Cindy Telenko

Cindy Telenko, I have over 20 years of Art Education experience at all levels. I have my BFA in Communication Design from Kutztown University and my Art Teaching Certification (K-12) from Millersville University. I have been married for over 30 years and have four children, ages 30, 26, 19, and 17. I enjoy time with my family and my two adorable grandsons. I also have over 30 years of coaching field hockey as well. I love my two dogs, Cooper (beagle) and Ripken (basset hound).  I reside in Elizabethtown and also am the Owner and Creative Director of Twister Easel, etc.

 

Mrs. Anjie Vago

Anjie Vago holds a B.A. in Elementary Education from Grove City College, where she met her husband, Shawn. She homeschooled her two daughters through graduation. Anjie is also an evaluator, and she has been tutoring privately for several years. In addition to being a lover of words and stories, Anjie also enjoys creative sewing, baking, and volunteering.

 

 

Mr. Ron Zeigler

Ron Zeigler has been happily married for almost 29 years to his wife, Kathy, and is the father of four children, two of which have been in C.H.E.S.S, Samuel and Thomas. He holds a BS degree in Science and Health Education and taught in the Baltimore County Public School system for seven years. He also has a Masters of Divinity Degree and has served as a pastor in the Presbyterian Church in America for about 19 years. He and his wife have been homeschooling for over 8 years. Along the way, Ron has coached wrestling and baseball while also enjoying serious badminton, corn hole, bocce and table tennis among many other games.

 

Mrs. Jodi Zell

Growing up on various mission fields (Brazil, Liberia, Colombia), Jodi Zell not only developed a heart for Kingdom work, but also a love for God’s big, beautiful world, including the people, cultures, history, and geography found all around the globe. God continues to use these childhood experiences to enrich and inspire any classes she is privileged to teach, whether at home or in a co op setting. Jodi married her high school sweetheart and fellow MK, Tony Zell (1999) and graduated from Cedarville University with a B.S. in Nursing (2000). After working as an RN for a couple of years, she came home full time (2002) and started homeschooling in 2006. As a homeschooling mom, she had taught a variety of subjects in multiple different co ops in several states over the years.  Her family started with CHESS in 2013. Although two kids have graduated and moved on to college, she still has seven more to go!
