Welcome! CHESS is a faith-based, drop-off homeschool co-op that meets at Glad Tidings in Middletown. We offer core and elective classes for K-12th learners on Tuesdays from August to April. Families can choose from six 1-hour periods, with each teacher incorporating methods that support various learning styles (visual, auditory, kinesthetic). Our aim is to create a diverse learning environment that encourages questions and exploration, not only preparing learners for the rest of the week with assigned coursework, but also for life beyond schooling.

Parent involvement IS required at home to successfully complete courses and achieve well-rounded learning. Other CHESS opportunities include our annual Fire/Safety Day (state requirement for homeschooling families), Field Day, and fun, family-friendly fundraising events. Learners and their families will discover lasting friendships beyond Tuesdays and experience an administrative team that encourages their unique homeschool journey.
