About Our Program

ABOUT THRIVE

Purpose: Thrive is a religious non-profit California corporation. We are a community program offering many community-building opportunities for families who are homeschooling. THRIVE exists to say "Yes!" to educational freedom for our future generation. We have created a new way birthed in hope and joy and freedom. At Thrive we equip students with the skills, knowledge, and opportunities to help them discover and encourage their God-given gifts in a free and creative environment. We come alongside families to provide community and support as well as access to highly qualified educational opportunities. Families are empowered to take back their children's individual learning needs and accelerate their learning in this highly sought-after community program.

Responsibilities: Thrive is responsible for providing quality community that supports homeschooling parents and families. We do this by providing a safe space for your children, community events for the family to connect with other homeschooling families, opportunities to participate in high-quality programs, chapel, lunch program, study hall program, special events, and more. Our parents are responsible for meeting our volunteer requirement of 12 hours per semester, communicating with their program providers in a respectful manner, completing any financial obligations to Thrive and program providers in a timely manner, ensuring their children have adequate support during the day to be successful and thrive.

Communication: Our main source of communication is the TLC website, emergency text communication, and weekly newsletters. For the protection of our members, we do not publicly advertise our membership information. We also communicate via the online forum for the purpose of sharing information, websites, and encouragement or prayer requests.

Cooperative Activities: In order to encourage communication and fellowship with one another and enhance our child(ren)’s education, we encourage participation in group activities. There is no one person responsible for planning activities for the group; rather, it is the result of individual contributions made by the families that comprise the TLC group.

Our Team:

Thrive has a robust team of support to ensure Thrive is always a safe and fun place for families to gather. Please take a look at all of those who are part of this program!
