Anne Guthrie
Anne teaches pre algebra to 7th and 8th graders in our homeschool group, guiding students through the foundations they need for a confident start in algebra. Her class combines clear step-by step instruction with regular practice - including speed drills and worksheets to build fluency and confidence with numbers. Anne is passionate about helping students see math not as something to fear, but as a skill they can master with patience and practice.
Anne accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour at the age of 31 and has been at the same Church for 19 years. While taking Calculus at Miami University, the perfection of mathematics revealed to her a God of order and precision. Four of her children attended PATH between 2016 and 2021.
Jennifer Holder
Jennifer enjoys introducing students to the great works of the Western tradition and hopes to make her love of literature contagious. She has a degree in Humanities from Milligan College and more than ten years' experience homeschooling and teaching co-op classes. She and her husband recently graduated their daughter from their homeschool and are now beginning the high school years with their son.
Shea Lawrence
Shea Lawrence lives in Milford and is blessed to have an amazing family - married 25+ years with four kids and parents who are very supportive. She grew up in Cincinnati, but has lived all over the world including Germany. Her formal schooling includes an international MBA, focused on Finance, IT and German. She has been homeschooling since 2011, inspired by taking her family to a wedding and touring throughout Europe. What an amazing journey God has taken her on! She has taught a variety of classes - babies swimming, maths, science, economics, government and history. She is also an active Realtor, protecting families' money since 2006. The most brilliant thing to her is watching every kid and young adult figure something out for themselves and see the thinking going on, using the gifts that God has given them. It has been an amazing experience to be part of the great community of PATH Homeschoolers.
Bruce Miller
Since 1991 he and his family have lived in Anderson Township. His children all graduated from Turpin HS. He is the son/PK of a Southern Baptist minister. He was baptized in a “crick” by his father in Vienna, Indiana when he was in 3 rd grade. He is a 1974 graduate of Anderson HS at which time he lived in Newtown. He has a BS in Math from Marietta College, an MAT Mathematics from UC, and 46 other graduate hours in various areas. After graduating from Marietta, he married his high school sweetheart and began his teaching career in Newark, OH at a junior high school. After Newark, he taught at two high schools in Arizona. During that period, he also spent 2 years as a graduate teaching assistant at the University of Arizona. He returned to Ohio in 1991 and began teaching at Mariemont High School and continued for 31 years. While at Mariemont, he taught Algebra II and above topping out at Multivariable Calculus. He also was a Computer Programming teacher for many years. He retired in 2022.
Emily Morales
Emily Morales graduated summa cum laude from California State University, Fresno, with a B.S. in molecular biology and a minor in cognitive psychology. Her undergraduate research spanned immunology, microbiology, psychology, scanning tunneling microscopy, and genetics, including published work in the Journal of Experimental Psychology. She also holds an M.Ed. from the University of Cincinnati and a Certificate in Apologetics from Talbot School of Theology at Biola University. She is currently pursuing graduate studies at Moody Theological Seminary, with a particular interest in Old Testament studies.
Emily serves as an instructional designer and content developer for Moody Bible Institute and as a writer for Salvo Magazine. She has also written on apologetics and related cultural issues for other publications, including The International Journal of the Natural Family. A former Darwinian evolutionist, she now finds intelligent design arguments more compelling in addressing questions related to the origin of life.
Reyna Ramirez
Mrs. Ramirez is married and has a daughter. She enjoys cooking, crafts, and spending time with her family. Mrs. Ramirez loves to teach Spanish and her favorite bible verse is Galatians 5:22-23. Her education includes an Associate of Applied Science in Microcomputer in Business El Paso Community College and she was a secretary and private accountant in Ojinaga Chihuahua, Mexico. Currently she is the voluntary Spanish teacher at First Baptist Church of Milford.
Julie Rhine
I believe art should be exciting and fun! I found my passion and love for art later in life and my biggest joy is watching kids discover the artist in themselves! My goal is that while they are learning about artists, techniques and foundational art principals, they are finding confidence and learning their unique styles.
Cari Sundberg
While new to tutoring at PATH, Cari has been teaching in various capacities for many years. After graduating from Miami University with a BS in Elementary Education (K–8), she taught in the Mason School District for 10 years. Although she loved her job, she felt called to stay home and teach her four children. In 2009, her family began their homeschooling journey. During that time, she also began tutoring struggling readers and writers—specifically those with dyslexia—and teaching classes at various co-ops they joined. Although her own homeschooling journey has come to an end, Cari continues to tutor within the homeschooling community and enjoys supporting families still on their journey. When not tutoring, she loves playing pickleball with her family and
taking walks with her two dogs.
Theresa Tetrault
Theresa is excited to be teaching the Old Testament Bible at PATH this year and looks forward to helping students discover God's faithfulness and His unfolding plan of redemption throughout Scripture. She desires to help students not only grow in their knowledge of the Bible but also deepen their love for the Lord and His Word.
Theresa has attended Faith Church for 15 years and has served on staff in the Children's Ministry for over two years. She and her four children (ages 14, 13, 9, and 6) live in Loveland, and are actively involved in many areas of church life and ministry. She has been homeschooling her children since they began school nearly a decade ago and is passionate about helping students build a strong biblical foundation rooted in God's Word.
