Most recently, she served as faculty with Colorado State University Extension for seven years, specializing in Family & Consumer Sciences, food safety, nutrition, food preservation, and culinary literacy.
Amber’s teaching philosophy centers on hands-on exploration and learning through joyful discovery. Inspired by her young son’s love of discovery, she designs classes that spark curiosity and cultivate practical skills through engaging experiences in nature, STEAM, and food. Her lessons empower children to explore, create, and experiment, fostering meaningful connections with the world around them and positive, lifelong food experiences. Amber feels honored to support families during this formative stage, helping shape thoughtful, capable, and creative learners.
