About Us - Rooted Homeschool Co-op

Rooted Homeschool Co-op

Growing Together in Faith, Learning, and Community

Our Vision

While we value academic excellence, Rooted Homeschool Co-op exists as more than an educational program. We see Rooted as a training ground where students are equipped to become confident, purpose-driven individuals who impact the world around them.

Our greatest desire is that each student comes to know God’s character, loves Him deeply, experiences His presence, and reflects His love in their lives. We are committed to helping children understand who they are in Christ, grounded in the truth of God’s Word, so they may walk in wisdom, love, and spiritual strength as they pursue their God-designed purpose.

Our Statement of Faith

Holy Scripture
We believe the Old and New Testaments are the fully inspired, authoritative Word of God—without error as originally given—and the final authority for faith, life, and conduct.

The Trinity
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ
We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, atoning death through His shed blood, bodily resurrection, ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory.

Salvation
We believe salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Jesus Christ alone. He is the only way to eternal life.

Holy Spirit
We believe in the present and active ministry of the Holy Spirit, whose power enables believers to live godly lives and builds the Body of Christ.

Prayer
We believe in the power and necessity of prayer, both personal and corporate.

Parental Responsibility
We believe parents are divinely entrusted with the care, education, and training of their children.

Redemption
We believe in the redemption and restoration available to all who repent of sin and seek God’s mercy and forgiveness through Jesus Christ.

Sanctity of Life
We believe every human life is a sacred gift from God, created in His image with inherent dignity and purpose. From conception to natural death, life is to be protected, valued, and nurtured.

Compassion and Truth
We believe every person should be treated with love, compassion, kindness, respect, and dignity. Teaching biblical truth, as revealed in Scripture, is not hateful or harmful.

Marriage and Family
We believe marriage is ordained by God as a lifelong, exclusive covenant between one man and one woman, forming the foundation of the family.

Gender
We believe God intentionally and immutably creates each person as male or female, reflecting His design and nature.

Christian Unity
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers through faith in Jesus Christ. Doctrinal differences outside this Statement of Faith should not hinder unity among Christian homeschool families.

Frequently Asked Questions

What level of parent participation is expected?

Rooted is a non-drop-off co-op. One parent must remain on campus and participate during co-op hours.

Participating parents will teach or assist for 2 out of 3 class hours, allowing each parent one hour per co-op day for rest, fellowship, or personal time (while remaining on campus).

Parents are also expected to attend the morning meeting with their child(ren).

Is it required to be a Christian family to participate?

Our heart and prayer is that every family member would experience a life-giving relationship with Jesus Christ. We believe salvation comes only through Him.

All participating parents must fully agree with and affirm our Statement of Faith and actively seek to live according to biblical principles. Rooted is designed for families committed to raising their children within a Christian worldview.
