Vision Statement
Although we value academic excellence, we believe Rooted is a training ground where students are equipped to become world changers. Our greatest desire is that each student will come to know God’s character, adore Him, experience His presence, and share His love. Our commitment is to guide children into knowing who they are in Christ based on what God’s Word says about them, so they’ll be equipped to reach their God-designed destiny, walking in wisdom, love, and power.
Our Statement of Faith
We believe in the Holy Scripture and fully accept the writings of the Old and New Testaments as the very Word of God, verbally inspired in all parts and therefore wholly without error as originally given by God, the only infallible and authoritative rule of faith, life, and conduct. (Ps. 119:105, 133, 160; Prov. 30:5a; II Tim. 3:16-17; II Pet. 1:19-21)
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (John 1:1-5, 14:10 & 10:30, Matthew 28:18-20, 2 Cor 13:14 & 3:17, Deut 6:4, Hebrews 1:1-4 & 1:8, Isaiah 48:16, Romans 9:5, Colossians 2:9, 1 Jn 5:20)
We believe in the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, bodily resurrection, ascension to the right hand of God the Father, and personal return in power and glory.
We believe that for the salvation of the lost and sinful man, Jesus is the only way to eternal life. Salvation from sin is by grace alone through faith alone in Jesus Christ. (John 3:16, 3:18 & 14:6, Acts 4:12, Eph. 2:8-9, Romans 3:23, 6:23 & 10:9-10, 1 John 3:8 & 5:13)
We believe in the present and continued ministry of the Holy Spirit, whose presence and powers are necessary for believers to live a Godly life and for the building of the Body of Christ. (John 14:26, Romans 8:14 & Acts 1:8 & 4:31, Thess, 2:13, 1 Cor. 12:7)
We believe in the power of prayer, both individual and corporate.
We believe that parents have a God-given responsibility for the care, education, and training of their children.
We believe in the redemption and restoration of all who confess and forsake their sin, seeking His mercy and forgiveness through Jesus Christ. (Acts 3:19-21; Rom. 10:9-10; I Cor. 6:9-11)
We believe every human life is a sacred gift from God, created in His image with inherent dignity and purpose (Genesis 1:27, Psalm 139:13-16). From conception to natural death, we affirm the immeasurable value of each individual, recognizing that life is to be protected, cherished, and nurtured.
Our homeschool community upholds a culture of life. We teach our children to respect and defend the unborn, the elderly, the disabled, and all who are vulnerable. We encourage families to live out this conviction by promoting compassion, support, and education that affirms the beauty and worth of every human being.
We believe everyone must be afforded compassion, love, kindness, respect, and dignity. (Mark 12:28-31; Luke 6:31) Gossip, slander, hateful, and harassing behavior and attitudes directed toward any individual are to be repudiated and are not in accord with Scripture nor the morals of Rooted Homeschool Co-op. However, preaching and teaching God’s Truth as revealed in Scripture is not hateful or harassing of any person.
We believe that marriage and families are ordained and defined by God. that God has established marriage as a lifelong, exclusive relationship between one man and one woman based on their DNA and that all intimate sexual activity outside the marriage relationship, whether heterosexual, homosexual, or otherwise, is immoral, and therefore sin. (Gen. 2:18-25; Ex. 20:14, 17, 22:19; Lev. 18:22-23, 20:13, 15-16; Matt. 19:4-6, 9; Rom. 1:18-31; I Cor. 6:9-20; I Tim. 1:8-11; Jude 7
We believe that God wonderfully and immutably creates each person as male or female. Together, these two distinct, complimentary genders reflect the image and nature of God. (Gen. 1:26-27) Rejection of one’s biological sex is a rejection of the image of God within that person.
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers through our common saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and that individual doctrinal differences that may exist outside the aforementioned should not hinder the unity of Christian home educators.

Q: | What ages are allowed to participate in Rooted Homeschool Co-op? |
A: | You must have at least 1 child in Kindergarten or higher to join the co-op. We have a nursery for babies (under 2 years or not potty trained) and toddler classes. Our classes will be broken into the following age groups:
|
Q: | What level of participation is expected of parents? |
A: | One parent must stay and participate during our co-op day. This is not a drop-off, but rather a community we are building. The participating parent will either teach or assist for 2 out of 3 hours of classes. Our goal is that each parent will get one hour "off" each day to either rest, have some alone time, or fellowship with other parents who are off that same hour. (You must stay on campus.) If you like to stay active, feel free to look around and find something productive to do! :-) Parents are also expected to participate in the morning meeting with their child(ren). |
Q: | Is it required to be a Christian family in order to participate in Rooted? |
A: | Our hope and prayer for each family member is to have a life-giving relationship with Jesus Christ, as we believe that salvation comes only through Jesus. He is our only true Hope, Joy, Righteousness, and Strength. For the parents in particular, our co-op requires a strict agreement with our Statement of Faith, which requires having a life-changing faith in Jesus Christ. At Attending parent(s) must be Christians who seek to live their lives according to all of God's Word and principles. |
Q: | Do you offer events for families outside of co-op day? |
A: | Yes! We are huge on community. We offer:
We will send out a weekly email to keep you up to date, and all the social events will be tracked in our members-only calendar so you can easily keep track of details. |
