Board Member Bios

Logan Schenck  |  Board Chair

Hi, I’m Logan! My husband, Charles, and I were high school sweethearts, and now we have the joy of raising our four girls together. I was a reluctant homeschooler at first—convinced I’d never do it unless I had no other option—but God, in His patience and wisdom, gently prepared my heart for this journey. Now, I can’t imagine it any other way and am so grateful for the gift of homeschooling!

When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me in the garden, on a walk, curled up with a cup of tea and a good book, or—let’s be honest—excitedly planning for the next school year (because somehow, next year always looks more fun than the one we’re finishing!).

Renata Tullo  |  Secretary

Renata was born and raised in New York.  She has both her graduate and undergraduate degrees in Social Work and currently works part-time at an inpatient psychiatric facility.  She is also the Treasurer for a local American Heritage Girls troop in addition to the Secretary for Brevard Homeschool Fellowship, Inc.

Renata and her husband of 30 years relocated to Florida over 20 years ago, and they have one daughter who is 16 years of age.  Their daughter has always been homeschooled and is currently dual enrolled at a local college.

Renata enjoys spending time with and caring for her family and tending to her garden and home, and she relaxes by reading, watching movies, and coloring.

One of Renata’s favorite Bible verses is Numbers 6:24-26 (NIV): “The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace.”  She is eternally grateful for His everlasting lovingkindness.

Renata attends church services at Freedom Christian Center in Viera and would love for you to join her if you don’t already have a home church.

Jess Denyer  | Treasurer

My name is Jess Denyer and I'm a homeschooling mom of three (9, 8 and 6 years old). I'm blessed to be married to my best friend, Matt, and together we cherish the simple joys of raising our children on our small homestead. We love Jesus, good food, and spending quality time with family. Being part of BHF has been an incredible blessing for our family, and we're so excited to see it grow!
