Laramie Learning Link Positions:

All those on the Board of Laramie Learning Link must agree with these positions unreservedly.

Member applicants must check if they agree with the positions or not. Members do not necessarily have to agree completely with all positions, but they must agree to be respectful of the positions, and not to teach anything contrary. (Non-agreeing members may not be the main content planning teacher for any class.)

Membership applications will be accepted on a case by case basis, the board reserves to the right to deny any application for any or no reason.

Guest speakers may be invited to teach or speak on specific topics who do not necessarily hold to all the Positions.

Laramie Learning Link is non-partisan, but may be involved in partisan political activities approved by the Board.

Positions:

1: The Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God and constitutes His completed and final revelation to man. The Bible in its original autograph is without error in whole and in part, including theological concepts as well as literal geographical, historical and scientific details, including the literal 6 day creation, and the flood of the entire earth.

2: There is only one God, and he has existed from all eternity in three persons, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ was God come in human flesh being fully God and fully man, except without sin.

3: Man is fallen in nature and is not able to be redeemed except by faith in Jesus Christ, who paid the penalty for man's sin by his own death on the cross.

4: God created human beings male and female from the beginning, only those two genders. One of these biological genders, which are identifiable by chromosomes, is assigned by God to each individual at the moment of conception and cannot be changed. Marriage is the union of two people only, one male and one female, according to God’s plan and design.

5: We believe the ability to raise our children and direct their upbringing (including their education), is a God given responsibility, a natural and inalienable right.

6: We support the Second Amendment right in the Constitution of the common man to bear arms. This right is an essential, and integral part to the existence, and the protection, of all other rights.

7: We believe that free market capitalism is a sound, Biblically based economic system, and oppose government intervention in the realms of family, education, business, farming, health care, and food.

Class Days:

Class days are a fun optional opportunity for members of Laramie Learning Link. (If a family wants to join to participate in field trips or other events, but not the Monday classes, that is fine).

Class day content will reflect the positions of Laramie Learning Link. We will open the day with prayer, sing Sunday School songs, recite Bible verses, etc.

Class Day Expectations:

This is not a come and go as you please or feel like it event- you need to commit to a year, or semester.

Parents are expected to stay on site and be participatory and helpful. If you are unable to be there, prior arrangements need to be made for another parent to be responsible for your children.

Classrooms need to have a minimum of two teachers/helpers, for practical reasons, as well as safety and accountability, so parents should always be able to find a job!

Each family is expected to take turns teaching and doing clean up chores. If you have pre-planned events on class days, or have unexpected circumstances or emergencies come up (like your kids are puking!), please make arrangements for someone else to fulfill your commitments for that day.

Children are expected to be cooperative and polite in their classes. If there are any issues, children will be sent to their parents, or their parents called to class. If children are unable to return to class, they must remain with their parent. Under no circumstances are children allowed to roam the building or premises. Children must be in a class, or with their parent. It is 100% up to the teacher if a child will be asked to leave the class.

Class days for the 2024-25 School year will be held every other Monday afternoon, October-April. There will be 5 class days in the fall semester, and 6 class days in the spring semester.

There will 3 class sessions for 3 age groups. 0-5, 6-10 and 11+.

All age groups will have a PE class, a speaking/presentation/show and tell class, and a social time of card and board games. Children may participate in all or some of the classes. Please see the class schedule for more details. Ages are flexible. Children are welcome to stay with an older or younger sibling/s, or wherever they feel most comfortable. Children are ALWAYS welcome to stay where ever their parents are, and MUST stay with their parent if they are not participating in a class.

I understand that I will be responsible for my assigned tasks- (teaching, cleaning, room monitoring), and that if I am unable to attend, I will need to find a replacement. I also understand that I am responsible for my own children and their behavior at all times. (1 required) I understand and agree.
6. Confidentiality: Member information is confidential. All information on this website/directory is only for the purpose of group activities.

If I or my child cause any damage to any property, or injure a person, or I or my family members become injured while attending a Laramie Learning Link activity, I understand and agree that I, and I alone, am personally liable for any damages, repairs, or injuries.
