Mrs. Cathy Alemany To All Instructors

Growing up homeschooled, I realized from a young age the value of creativity in all aspects of life. A strong Biblical foundation and the ability to express creative thought has helped me in serving the church, on the mission field, at work, and as a parent.

Today I am a homeschool mom, and I am excited to offer engaging classes to the next generation. 

This year I will be teaching Biblical Theater and Spanish 101. 

I was heavily involved with drama as a homeschool student and at my local church, I've been directing church plays since I was 17. I'm excited to work with a new group of young people to bring the Bible to life on stage! 

My love for the Spanish language came naturally as my husband is from Cuba. His parents do not speak English so I learned Spanish to be able to communicate with our extended family. It's a beautiful language with a strong culture and great food. Our class will aim to let students experience a new language through listening, speaking, reading, and writing as well as music, movies, games, and our taste buds!

I'm excited to be a part of Rooted Oaks and look forward to seeing how God will use us to teach and train up this new generation of homeschoolers for His glory!
