Guest Speaker: Sue Puchferran

Topic: You Can Do It! Let's Explore What options do you have

Encouragement and vision for middle and high school mothers to keep doing the good job of homeschooling their teens. We will explore differents options you may have for a good academic and character foundation and identify where are you heading: is it college or are you heading into a different direction?

Sue will talk briefly about changes in schoolarship for homeschool .

Sue Puchferran is a home school mom and with her husband, Rick, they homeschooled their four children for 18 years.

Sue is a past president of Boca Home Schoolers, a current board member for the Home Education Foundation (Our home school lobbying organization in Tallahassee,) founder and current director of the Home Education Enrichment Day (HEED). She continues to work with home school high schoolers in academic advising and in preparation for college admissions and all that entails.

Sue’s passion is to see all home schooling families equipped to help their children fulfill the destiny that God has planned for their lives.

Sue is the author of Completing the Journey; High School/Home School Handbook.

This is a very valuable handbook to guide you  before you approach the high years or even better if you are in the midst of your high school  journey.

We'll have some copies for you in the park meeting.

100% of the Proceeds from the sale of this handbook go to support the work of HEF (Homeschool Education Foundation at flhef.org).

$25.00 suggested donation.

Operation Christmas Child- Coordinator Symantha Riley

Bring your shoe boxes to the park meeting. Our good friend Symantha will come to pick up your shoe boxes to take them to the collection center.

Box Tops for Education- Coordinator Denfis Morales

Keep bringing those Box Tops! Collecting box tops is an EASY way to help our group get funding for prizes, parties, and other activities. Just look for the white squares with the pink file folder marked BOXTOPS FOR EDUCATION on many of the brands you already buy. Simply cut them out, collect in a plastic baggie, and bring to the park meeting. Please trim your box tops before bringing them in, but be careful not to cut the expiration date! You can even ask grandparents and relatives to collect for you, as well.

- Library-  We are in need of a coordinator, Please see Terry or Rebeca.

- Blessed Table

Donation of school supplies or curricula that you no longer need. You can also donate clothes. Please just remember to pick up your items if they are not taken.
