Why We Do What We Do

Our Vision

To see our children grow into young adults who walk in the center of God's perfect will for their individual lives.

Our Purpose

To support Christian homeschooling families and promote homeschooling in the Oswego County area, observing the Biblical commands of Deuteronomy 6:4-9, Proverbs 22:6, and Ephesians 6:4. Oswego County LEAH members represent a diversity of traditions within the Christian faith and are united in our commitment to home education. Oswego County LEAH is a local chapter of Homeschool New York - Loving Education at Home (NYS LEAH). As such, its establishment, leadership, operations, and final dissolution are subject to the oversight of the Board of Directors of Homeschool New York - Loving Education at Home according to the bylaws of such.

Our Mission

To support and equip the homeschool family by meeting their needs through prayer, fellowship, encouragement, informative monthly meetings, regular co-op, special activities, field trips, parties, newsletters, updates on legal and legislative issues that affect homeschooling, and to encourage home education families to seek appropriate legal counsel.
