WAHE Statement of Faith

The Bible is the inspired work of God and constitutes complete and final revelation.

God has existed from all eternity in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ became human flesh, being fully God and fully man without sin.

All men are in violation of God’s righteous requirements and under condemnation. The purpose of the incarnation of Jesus Christ was to pay the penalty for man’s sins through his substitutional death on the cross. He then rose visibly and bodily from the dead.

Salvation is offered as a free gift to the sinner. The gift must be responded to in individual faith, not trusting in any personal works whatsoever, but the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ alone.

WAHE Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide the opportunity for education-based activities and services to enhance our members’ homeschooling efforts.

This is done in partnership with members of WAHE and in keeping with our Statement of Faith.

WAHE Public Health Statement

Our desire is to keep this freedom of choice within each family's jurisdiction and their comfort level when deciding how they would like to participate in activities as it pertains to any health risks. With that being said, event participation will be at your own comfort level, as we do not enforce any social distancing measures, sanitization, masks, etc. However, if this means you feel more comfortable taking your own measures (e.g. wearing a face mask) please feel free to do so.

We know WAHE families are cautious and thoughtful when it comes to their health and deciding to participate in any event(s). When considering participation in an event, and a guide to your health status, we recommend using the questions listed below. If you or anyone in your family answers YES to any of those questions, they should consider if their attendance would be a greater risk to the rest of the group.

Additionally, as there is always a risk for injuries, accidents and illnesses with any activity, families should come to all WAHE activities and events with the understanding that they are participating "at their own health risk." Our expectations are that WAHE families will continue to use wise discretion regarding their health before choosing to attend any events. But as always, WAHE is not liable for any injuries, accidents nor illnesses.

When considering participation in any event, and as guide to your health status, we recommend using these questions:

In the last two weeks (14 days), have you or anyone in your family:

  • Traveled internationally?
  • Had a fever (greater than 100.4 F) OR symptoms of lower respiratory illness such as cough, shortness of breath, or difficulty breathing?
  • Currently experiencing a fever (greater than 100.4 F) OR symptoms of lower respiratory illness such as cough, shortness of breath, or difficulty breathing?
  • Been in close contact with someone who has a suspected or confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis?
