Statement of Faith

The Bible is the inspired Word of God and is His complete and final revelation.

God has existed from all eternity in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ took on human flesh, being fully God and fully man, yet without sin.

All people are in violation of God’s righteous requirements and stand under condemnation. Jesus Christ came in the incarnation to pay the penalty for humanity’s sin through His substitutionary death on the cross. He then rose visibly and bodily from the dead.

All humans are created by God in His image, biologically either male or female from conception. Being made in God’s image affirms the inherent value and worth He gives every person throughout their entire life—regardless of physical features, abilities, sex, or age. God established marriage from the beginning as a covenant between one male and one female.

Salvation is offered as a free gift to every sinner. This gift must be received through individual faith—not by trusting in personal works, but in the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ alone.

Mission Statement

WAHE connects traditional homeschool families by supporting member-led activities and fellowship, guided by our Statement of Faith.

Health Statement

Families participate in all WAHE activities at their own risk. WAHE is not liable for injuries, accidents, or illnesses that may occur. We trust families to use wise discretion regarding their health and safety when choosing to attend events.

Event Guidelines

Reservations: Members are responsible for making reservations and paying any required fees.

Participant Cancellations: Notify the activity leader as soon as plans change. If there is no waiting list, you may offer your spot to other families through the forum.
After the reservation deadline, required fees are non-refundable.

Event Cancellations: If the Wausau School District closes due to weather, all WAHE events for that day will also be cancelled. Additional updates will be posted on the WAHE Forum.

Punctuality: Please plan to arrive 10 minutes early to ensure a smooth start to each activity.

Age Appropriateness: Some facilities require strict age limits. Please review these restrictions when registering and honor the requirements set by the host organization.

Parental Supervision: Parents must remain with their children unless another arrangement is made with another supervising parent. This does not apply to activities taught by paid community organizations (e.g., YMCA), though parents should confirm policies with the hosting facility. Please help with cleanup and check for belongings at the end of each event.

Behavior Expectations: Discuss respectful, courteous behavior with your children before attending events. If a child becomes disruptive or unsafe, they may be asked to leave in order to protect the group and the facility.

Liability: Parents are responsible for supervising their own children and for any damage caused during an event.
