Who Can Join?
Membership is open to homeschooling families in the Wausau area who file a PI-1206 Intent to Homeschool form with the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction. Membership covers your entire family.
Families with children under age six (as of September 1) may also join if they intend to homeschool according to WI Act 512.
All members agree to uphold WAHE’s Mission Statement, Statement of Faith, Guidelines for Attending WAHE Events, and Public Health Statement. Learn More Here
Membership Dues
2025-2026 Membership Rates
- $35 per family
- First time members and early bird renewals (completed before June 30) are offered a $10 discount
Dues support WAHE’s website, administrative needs, and member-organized activities.
Please note that certain field trips or activities may involve an additional fee. When applicable, these costs will be clearly communicated during registration.
1. Complete the website access and membership forms by clicking Join Today!
2. After approval, you will receive an invoice by email.
3. Pay securely online via PayPal or mail a check using the instructions provided.
Please Note: Payment must be received within 30 days of the invoice date to keep your membership request active. Because our team processes applications manually, we appreciate your patience and grace as we work through each request.
