The Mt Tabor Church Park is home to the big, bumpy, wooden slide! Bring a towel or soft blanket to sit on and really make the ride fast! (Plastic-coated bags do NOT work).
There is a playground beside the slide and we’ve rented the closest pavilion (Pavilion C) so bring your lunch & make a day of it. Restrooms, electric, water & a charcoal grill will be available. Park closes at dark.
No skateboards or fireworks are allowed in the park and garbage bags must be put in the dumpsters provided.

If you need more exercise, there is the Catoctin Mountain National Park at 6602 Foxville Rd, Thurmont, MD 21788 with lots of hiking trails ranging from easy to challenging, and beautiful views including Cunningham Falls. Entrance to the park is FREE.
