All Ages: Bethesda Mission Volunteer Opportunity #2

Date: Nov 30, 2022
Time: 2:00p-3:30p
Cost: FREE
Ages: All ages
Location: 611 Reily Street, Harrisburg
Sign up: ALL attendees
Contact: Beth Mellott: dagwood5@hotmail.com

We will meet with the director and the volunteer coordinator to learn about the history of the mission, how it has changed and grown over the years and the needs it meets today. We will tour the administrative offices, their medical and dental offices as well as their kitchen and learn how WE can help.

We will not be able to tour the women’s facility or the community center as clearances are needed to interact with the children but we will be given information about how we can obtain clearances & volunteer with them as well.

Since the Mission can only accommodate 10 people in their tour (and only 8 in the kitchen), the morning event will include an opportunity to serve in the food kitchen while the afternoon event will only be the tour.
