New Hope is more than just a food bank. They invest in their clients by offering job training, counseling, and a myriad of other services with the ultimate goal of having their client leave their care as a stable member of society. Volunteers make up more than 99% of their workforce so come and find out how you might fit into this ministry.
We will learn about the ministry – how they got started and where they are going; tour the Dillsburg facility; learn where their other centers are located and how we can help. will spend 30-45 mins volunteering in some manner, possibly stocking shelves, greeting guests or scheduling appointments.
Our cost or fee for this event is the #1 item they are always lacking – toiletries. (Shampoo, toothpaste, soap, cleaning supplies etc.) There is no pressure to give and please do not give beyond what your circumstances allow. HAHA will provide a few gift bags and we will see if we can put our costs/fees together to create a few “family” bags.
