Welcome to Hill Country Homeschool Association
We are a Christian-based organization formed since the early 1990's as a support group to encourage home educating families in the task of teaching their children at home. The group is administered by a board of directors and volunteer coordinators.
HCHSA currently serves in the Kerrville area and has active members from all over the Texas Hill Country to include Medina, Kendall, Gillespie, Edwards, and Kimball County.
Our Association is a place to build relationships, find homeschool support, resources, and encouragement for this adventure of educating our children.
Therefore encourage one another and build up one another...1 Thess. 5:11
Fieldtrips are a great way to provide enrichment to any homeschool. We have several exciting trips lined up for the 2019-2020 (September-May) school year that offer educational info as well as plain old fun! We go all over to help our kids learn interactively.
- San Antonio Aquarium
- San Antonio Zoo
- Botanical Gardens
- Government Canyon State Natural Area
- Animal World & Snake Farm Zoo
New locations are added every year by our fieldtrip coordinator.
Monthly Moms' Meetups
Enjoy encouragement, food, and friendship with other moms on the same journey! We schedule mom's night once a month. The date of mom's night will be posted onto our Association Calendar which is viewable by members only.
A few hours once a week generally on Mondays after Co-Op classes for kids to play and parents to visit.
Summer Park Days Vary and are at different locations. There is a GroupMe notification for members with up to date park info.
The HCHSA Co-Op Classes are a wonderful way to enrich your home school studies and strengthen your relationship in the Lord Jesus Christ! You must be a member of HCHSA to attend the classes.
