Weather Policy

Due to our location we have the advantage of having main roads that will get cleared quickly so we hope to not have to cancel co-op due to snow. However we understand that some of you do have more back country roads to get to us or live further away so YOU will need to make the decision for your family as to whether or not you drive in in inclement weather. If we have co-op on a bad weather day but you are unable to come please let our Parent Job Coordinator know via text or email and also email your student's teacher to get assignments. We will take safety seriously but will do our best to hold co-op whenever possible.

Our Weather Guidelines are as follows:

  • If Wilson School District has a one hour or a two hour delay we will have an automatic ONE HOUR delay. If you hear Wilson's announcements the night before, then you know you will at least have a ONE HOUR delay. If Wilson has a cancellation we will be cancelled (per request from the church).

  • If we do have a delay, the co-op schedule will be modified to still finish at 2pm, and is as follows:

    • All 9am classes will be cancelled

    • The remaining classes will operate at regularly scheduled times

  • You will be notified of weather-related co-op announcements via:

    • An email will be generated from this website

    • S.E.E.K's Facebook Page 

    • News about Wilson School District's cancellations via WFMZ or school's website
