MONOCACY HOME EDUCATORS COOPERATIVE

RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT

FALL 2022- SPRING 2023

WHEREAS, the UNDERSIGNED, acknowledges that a child's natural curiosity and playfulness can sometimes lead to accidental injury, AND in order to keep all adult members of the MONOCACY HOME EDUCATORS COOPERATIVE, their dependent children, and ST. PAUL'S LUTHERN CHURCH free from harm:

IN CONSIDERATION, therefore, for the privilege of participating in the MONOCACY HOME EDUCATORS COOPERATIVE, the Undersigned does hereby agree to hold harmless and indemnify all individual members of the MONOCACY HOME EDUCATORS COOPERATIVE and ST. PAUL'S LUTHERN CHURCH and further releases them from any liability or responsibility for accident, injury, or illness to the Undersigned or dependent child(ren) of the UNDERSIGNED.

IN ACKNOWLEDGMENT that federal and state government officials have declared that there currently exists a public health crisis in our country related to the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (“COVID-19”), the Undersigned agrees and releases all members of the MONOCACY HOME EDUCATORS COOPERATIVE and ST. PAUL'S LUTHERN CHURCH in relation to COVID-19.

The Undersigned agrees to release, discharge, hold harmless and indemnify the MONOCACY HOME EDUCATORS COOPERATIVE and ST. PAUL'S LUTHERN CHURCH its members and others acting on the COOPERATIVE's behalf (the “Releasees”), of and from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, and/or legal liabilities for injuries to or death occurring during, or resulting from, or participation in the above-mentioned program(s) or activities and related in any way to COVID-19, even if the cause, damages or injuries are alleged to be the fault of or alleged to be caused by the negligence or carelessness of the Releasees.
