Mission Statement

Sunbury Home Educators (SHE) is an inclusive Christ-centered homeschool support group which welcomes all homeschooling families for encouragement and support. SHE offers families the opportunity to connect with others in the homeschooling community through member-initiated field trips, social events, and other activities.

SHE also provides the opportunity for members to develop relationships and actively engage in the homeschooling process through the co-op experience. SHE members may choose to participate in weekly academic and enrichment classes at Activity Day (AD) to supplement their homeschooling.

Being a member of SHE and participating in AD means becoming a member of a Christian community where families are willing to serve with a spirit of unity and cooperation. Here we share blessing, support, fellowship, accountability, and responsibility. When each member uses their time, talents, and energy to help, the group runs smoothly, and we all enjoy the blessing.
