Membership
Eligibility
Membership is open to all homeschooling families. Potential members must agree to abide by the Member Handbook and respect the Christ-centered mission of SHE.
Registration & Renewal Period
New members may join SHE at any time. However, the membership process must be completed (either for the first time or as a renewal) during the spring in order to be eligible for Activity Day participation the following school year. Check the calendar on the website for specific dates.
Membership Form
In order to join SHE, you must create an account on our website and complete online membership forms. The membership forms include the Waiver of Liability, the SHE Membership Agreement, and the AD Participation Agreement. Only complete the AD Participation Agreement if you are interested in participating in our weekly co-op classes at Activity Day.
Membership Fee
The annual membership fee is $40.00 and may be paid either by cash, check, or PayPal. Please note that the membership fee is not prorated for members that join outside of the registration period and is not refundable. The bulk of our membership fees go toward providing the website and paying for insurance. The remainder is used to cover costs associated with Activity Day and other SHE events.
Approval
Your SHE membership will be processed once all forms and payment have been received. You will then receive a welcome letter via email to confirm your membership in SHE. At that point you will be able to access member-only portions of the website with the username and password you selected when creating your account.
Directory
Much of the information collected when you create an account on our website is available to other members through the website directory after your membership has been approved. If you do not want to share your information, you may opt out of this feature on your profile. The membership directory is for personal and SHE use only. To protect member privacy, the membership directory may not be reproduced or distributed to any organization or person outside of SHE. Misuse of the membership directory will be grounds for termination from SHE.
