Come learn about the history of our area through the advent of the trains that helped build Texas and carry our people, goods and culture throughout America.

Our highly-trained and enthusiastic docents will guide you through the museum grounds, collections and displays.

Optional 30-minute educational lesson for all ages about communication in the railroad industry throughout history.

Spend some free time on the grounds watching trains roar by from our Observation Platform and bring your picnic lunch to enjoy.
Know Before You Go:
- Masks required for all visitors ages 10+. All staff and volunteers will be wearing masks.
- Bring your lunch. We will eat lunch together at the covered pavilion and watch trains go by.
- There is an optional 30-minute lesson about train communication for ages Kindergarten & up. All children will have the same tour. We will be broken up into smaller groups to tour, explore, and have the lesson.
- Group entry. Please arrive early to gather and enter as a group. No individual tickets will be handed out in advance.
