My husband and I decided to homeschool when my oldest was just 3 years old. We saw what was being taught in public schools around the country and it was not a right fit for our growing family. Fast forward almost 13 years and we are still going. We have always had an active homeschooling life, filled with adventure, freedom, and community. When we found out we were stationed in MA, I was concerned. There didn't seem to be any existing group that met our needs. It became clear very quickly that God was positioning me to bring what I have learned from groups around the country to MA. After meeting the local homeschool community, and realizing I was not alone in my feelings, we found our people. I connected quickly with Cassandra, and with the help of our amazing families, who have now become our tribe, we revived PACE and created a vibrant homeschool community! God has blessed our group from the very beginning and continues to do exceedingly and abundantly more than I could have asked or imagined. The reason I am so passionate about what PACE and Victory Homeschool Academy are doing is because I know that behind every successful homeschooling family is an amazing community of like-minded parents that are holding each other up, encouraging each other, and doing life together.

Cassandra Wilson

I am a mother of 5, and grandmother to 2. When my husband and I were expecting our first child we decided I would leave my accounting job to run a daycare in our home so that I could be home with our babies. I dreamed of having a Christian school in its place. It wasn’t until I cried out to God in prayer 4 years later and He gave me the scripture Phil. 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens me,” that I knew we had to do it. God was there to help us in the process and still is. For several years we struggled with finding community and support that was a good fit for our family. In pursuit of creating the life we wanted I drew closer to God and more uncomfortable with staying where I was. I pursued other options. I found myself in a meeting with some homeschooling mamas at a playground in 2019 listening to Lexi sharing about starting a homeschool co-op. It was very clear to me that this was the answer I had been praying for. We partnered together and created this amazing God ordained group, Victory Homeschool Academy. It has been an AMAZING blessing to my family with many answered prayers. A prayer of PACE is for this to be a blessing for many families for generations to come. All things are possible for him that believes.

Raquel Black

Raquel & her husband have been a homeschool family since the birth of their three handsome boys. They have lived in Texas their whole lives. Well, except for when they traveled accross the country and moved to the Cape. The Lord led them to Cape Cod and we at PACE are so grateful that He brought them into our lives. Raquel brought her knowledge of how large homeschool co-ops operate (along with Lexi) to Cape Cod. Together the three of us stayed in prayer from the moment we met (in the summer of 2019) and into the starting of our Christ-centered Cape Cod homeschool co-op. God brought us together for this mission. The need on Cape Cod for alternative education, in the form of co-ops, was huge and has been growing with each school year. It was surely a divine connection. Raquel and her family greatly served PACE and VHA for 2 years!! They left a lasting impact on this organization and its growing community. We are so grateful that they anserwed the call God had on their lives for that 2 year period. SO many lives were impacted and continue to be impacted because of the work that was done. They graduated their eldest son in 2025.
