I am a mother of 5, and grandmother to 2. When my husband and I were expecting our first child we decided I would leave my accounting job to run a daycare in our home so that I could be home with our babies. I dreamed of having a Christian school in its place. It wasn’t until I cried out to God in prayer 4 years later and He gave me the scripture Phil. 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens me,” that I knew we had to do it. God was there to help us in the process and still is. For several years we struggled with finding community and support that was a good fit for our family. In pursuit of creating the life we wanted I drew closer to God and more uncomfortable with staying where I was. I pursued other options. I found myself in a meeting with some homeschooling mamas at a playground in 2019 listening to Lexi sharing about starting a homeschool co-op. It was very clear to me that this was the answer I had been praying for. We partnered together and created this amazing God ordained group, Victory Homeschool Academy. It has been an AMAZING blessing to my family with many answered prayers. A prayer of PACE is for this to be a blessing for many families for generations to come. All things are possible for him that believes.

When my husband and I decided to homeschool our oldest son, he was 4 years old. I started Kindergarten with him that September. It was a year early because I was terrified I couldn't teach him how to read or that I would fail him. Well, we stumbled our way through that first year together and fell in love with the way of life. Now, 8 years later, we have continued our homeschooling journey. I have 5 boys and I work full-time as a Data Analyst for Riverview School. We found PACE when it went virtual back in March 2020. The boys and I were thrilled to find a community of parents and children that were pursuing a home education while also faithfully serving the Lord. We have been so grateful to be here and serve this little fast-growing community.

I am a wife and a mom to two children who I lovingly refer to as "my crazy people". Our family owns a landscaping company and we never intended to homeschool. I had planned to return to the nursing field once both of my children were school aged. Then.. Covid was a school year filled with many IEP meetings and the adding on of "accommodations" with the public school, before the shut down. Once we noticed how our child thrived learning at home without any IEP meetings or "accommodations" we decided to hold off on me returning to work full time. We gave homeschooling a try in 2021/2022 and joined PACE in 2022/2023. We have been enjoying this wild, crazy, amazing, homeschool life ever since.
Donna Rogers, Director of Facilities

My name is Donna Rogers and my husband Tim is the Associate/Youth Pastor at Falmouth Baptist Church. We have six children: 4 girls and 2 boys and 5 grandchildren. When our oldest daughter was in the second grade she was not thriving in school. We were living overseas in Japan because my husband was in the Air Force. I began praying and asking God if homeschooling would be right for our family. I felt God showed me the verses in Deuteronomy 6:6-8. “And these words which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:and thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shall talk of them when thou sittest in thine house and when thou liest down and when thou risest up. ” I felt the best way to obey this command was to homeschool my children. When our daughter Abby was 16 she had a very rough year. One of her best friends who had attended our youth group died. Abby and many of her close friends were heartbroken and struggling. She was attending a different co-op but having trouble holding together her school work and her grief. One of her close friends told us about PACE. So in 2020, we joined PACE. Abby formed great friendships and loved the classes, the community and the dances. She was able to be uniquely herself and start to heal. Victory Co-op has been a great blessing to our family! Our youngest daughter, Annalisse, also had a couple years at Victory and the most precious was when she and one of her closest friends took classes together.
