Field Trip Policy
Updated for the 2025–2026 School Year
One of the best parts of CLC membership is our fully-funded field trips each semester! These amazing opportunities are built into your registration fee and made possible through careful budgeting and our shared commitment to showing up for each other.
Because we prepay for these experiences as a community, we need everyone's help to make them work well for all families:
Sign up thoughtfully. Only register for field trips you're genuinely excited about and committed to attending.
Communicate early if plans change. Life happens! If you need to cancel due to illness or unexpected circumstances, please let us know at least 48 hours in advance so we can offer your spot to another family and avoid losing the funds we've already committed.
Save day-of cancellations for real emergencies. We totally understand that genuine emergencies occur—fevers spike, cars break down, life gets messy.
Help us protect this benefit for everyone. If you're unable to attend a field trip without giving us notice (a no-call, no-show), you'll lose field trip privileges for the rest of the semester. We know this sounds harsh, but it helps us keep these opportunities affordable and available for all our families.
