What: ITBS Testing in a group setting (test results & signed Evaluation Form included)
Who: Any Florida homeschoolers, grades 4th – 12th
When: ONE DAY FOR ALL GRADES: Saturday, May 1, 2021:
- 4th – 8th grades: from 8:45am-approximately 5:30pm. (arrive at 8:30am) (lunch break approx.12:30-2:00pm—parents will need to pick up or supervise during lunch.)
OR - 9th – 12th grades: from 8:45am-approximately 1:00pm (arrive at 8:30am)
Why?: 1.To find out what your student knows or doesn't know in various topics to help the following year's educational planning;
2. To fulfill the County's annual evaluation requirement because the testing results allow the Evaluator to sign-off on your paperwork.
Where: Grow Church, 15300 Tamiami Trail N., Naples, FL 34110

Cost: $77 per student. Paid online only-via PayPal or as a guest. This fee includes use of the ITBS testing booklet, and test results that will be emailed only to the parent, along with the signed Written Evaluation Form for progressing students that gets submitted by the parent to your County’s Homeschool Liaison within the public-school system. (If a student doesn't qualify as passing or progressing then a meeting will need to be scheduled with this or another certified teacher for a portfolio review follow-up which would require a separate evaluation fee.) Nothing gets sent directly to the County--it is the parent's responsibility to submit the signed Written Evaluation Form, not test scores.
Additional details: a valid parent email and a BJU Press account is required. To access your student’s test scores a link to the results on the BJU Press website will be emailed to you after 5 weeks of the test date completion (approximately June 4th, 2021), along with the signed Written Evaluation Form from the certified teacher who is administering this test. You will also receive a pdf document of detailed instructions on interpreting the test results, and access to BJU Press’ customer service representatives.
