Serving the Homeschooling Community in the Heart of Georgia

Our Beliefs Are Important to Us!

As a Christian community, we hold each other accountable to love the LORD our God with all of our hearts, souls, and minds; to train up our children in the way they should go; and to bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the LORD (Deut 6:4-9; Prov 22:6; Eph 6:4, ESV).

CGCHE is one of the only homeschool organizations in Middle GA that is wholly Christian. All new and returning members are asked to sign a statement of faith so that we can ensure that we’re homeschooling with like-minded families.

Bible:

We believe that the Bible is the verbally inspired and only infallible, inerrant and authoritative Word of God (2 Timothy 3: 16, 2 Peter 1: 19-21). The Bible constitutes the complete and final written revelation of God. There are no additional inspired written revelations from God since the book of Revelation (Deuteronomy 4:2, Galatians 1:6-10, Revelation 22:18-19).

God:

God is one Being who eternally exists as three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit; all Persons being equal in power and glory (Matthew 28:19, 2 Corinthians 13:14). Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man (John 1:1, 14), born of a virgin (Matthew 1:18, 22- 23), and sinless in His life (Hebrews 4:15). He died on the cross as a substitute for sinful men (2 Corinthians 5:21), (Isaiah 53: 5-6). He rose bodily from the grave (John 20: 1-9, 24-31, Acts 2:24) and now reigns with the Father (Acts 7:55), (Hebrews 10:12). He will return visibly and personally to the earth in both salvation and judgment (Titus 2:13), (Hebrews 9:28), (Matthew 24:30). All humans are sinful by nature (Romans 3:23, 5:12) and can only receive forgiveness by faith in Jesus as Savior (John 3:16). We believe in the continuing ministry of the Holy Spirit by Whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life (Romans 8: 1-17).

Family:

We understand family to mean a married male and female couple with one or more children (Genesis 1: 26-28).  We recognize that sometimes families look different due to death, divorce, and adoption (1 Corinthians 7:15).
