Below you will find our 2025-2026 membership application. Please read each section carefully and write down the username and password you create below because you will need it to pay your dues. After you have completed the application and paid the dues our team will review your application. Once approved you will receive an email welcoming you and giving you vital information to get involved this year. Please read it carefully. You will also receive in that email a link to sign up for what event(s) or field trip(s) you may want to lead or assist with this year. Every family is expected to lead or assist at least one event this year.

CGCHE Statement of Faith

 The Bible is the verbally inspired and only infallible, inerrant and authoritative Word of God (2 Timothy 3: 16, 2 Peter 1: 19-21). The Bible constitutes the complete and final written revelation of God. There are no additional inspired written revelations from God since the book of Revelation (Deuteronomy 4:2, Galatians 1:6-10, Revelation 22:18-19). God is one Being who eternally exists as three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit; all Persons being equal in power and glory (Matthew 28: 19, 2 Corinthians 13:14). Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man (John 1:1, 14), born of a virgin (Matthew 1:18, 22- 23), and sinless in His life (Hebrews 4:15). CGCHE Release of Liability and Assumption of Risk Agreement

Please read each section carefully.
After reading, please sign stating that you have read and understand this agreement.

 I understand that during my participation in Central Georgia Christian Home Educators (hereafter known as CGCHE) outings or events, I may be exposed to a variety of hazards and risks, foreseen or unforeseen, which are inherent in each outing or event and cannot be eliminated without destroying the unique character of the outing or event. These inherent risks include, but are not limited to, the dangers of serious personal injury, property damage, and death ("Injuries and Damages") from exposure to the hazards of various types and CGCHE has not tried to contradict or minimize my understanding of these risks. I know that Injuries and Damages can occur by natural causes or activities of other persons, animals, trip members, trip leaders and assistants or third parties, either because of negligence or because of other reasons. I understand that risks of such Injuries and Damages are involved in such CGCHE outings and events and I appreciate that I may have to exercise extra care for my own person, my children, and for others around me in the face of such hazards.

 I further understand that on outings and events there may not be rescue or medical facilities or expertise necessary to deal with the Injuries and Damages to which I may be exposed. In consideration for my acceptance as a participant on CGCHE outings and events, and the services and amenities to be provided by CGCHE in connection with the outings or events, I confirm my understanding that:
  1.  I have read or have been notified of any rules and conditions applicable to the outing or event made available.
  2. I will pay any costs and fees for the outing.
  3. I acknowledge my or any member of my family's participation is at the discretion of the leader.
  4. The outing officially begins and ends at the location(s) designated by CGCHE.
  5. The outings or events may include carpooling, transportation, or transit to and from the outing or event, and I am personally responsible for all risk associated with this travel.
  6. If I decide to leave early and not to complete the outing or event as planned, I assume all risk inherent in my decision to leave and waive all liability against CGCHE arising from that decision. Likewise, if the leader has concluded the outing or event, and I decide to go forward without the leader, I assume all risks inherent in my decision to go forward and waive all liability against CGCHE arising from the decision.
  7. This Agreement is intended to be as broad and inclusive as is permitted by law. If any provision or any part of any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid or legally unenforceable for any reason, the remainder of this Agreement shall not be affected thereby and shall remain valid and fully enforceable.

To the fullest extend allowed by law, I agree to WAIVE, DISCHARGE CLAIMS, AND RELEASE FROM LIABILITY CGCHE, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and leaders from any and all liability on account of, or in any way resulting from Injuries and Damages, even if caused by negligence of CGCHE, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and leaders, in any way connected with outings or events.

I further agree to HOLD HARMLESS CGCHE, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and leaders from any claims, damages, injuries, or losses caused by my own negligence while a participant in outings or events. I understand and intend that this assumption of risk and release is binding upon my heirs, executor, administrators, and assigns, and includes any minors accompanying me on the outing. I have read this document in its entirety and I freely and voluntarily assume all risks of such Injuries and Damages and notwithstanding such risks, I agree to participate in the outing or event. CGCHE Code of Conduct

Galatians 5:13-26

13 You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh[a]; rather, serve one another humbly in love. 14 For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”[b] 15 If you bite and devour each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other.

16 So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. 17 For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever[c] you want. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

19 The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20 idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21 and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.

As a member (adult or student) of CGCHE, I agree to live a lifestyle that reflects Biblical standards, including:
  1. Love- I will strive to show God’s love to those around me, regardless of how I feel about them.
  2. Joy-  I will strive to have a positive attitude, even if things are not as I wanted.
  3. Peace-  I will strive to live in harmony with others around me. This includes avoiding gossip, bullying, corrupt speech (cursing or negative talk), and pride against others.
  4. Forbearance (patience)- I will strive to show patience to those around me and in all circumstances. I understand that there may be delays in the schedule and sometimes others may not know what I know, but I can still show patience.
  5. Kindness- I will strive to show kindness to all around me, regardless of the attitudes of others.
  6. Goodness- I will strive to choose to do what is good and right in the eyes of the Lord, as well as doing right and good to all around me. I will be honest in my speech and behavior and will avoid lying, deceit, and manipulation.
  7. Faithfulness- I will strive to do all that I have committed to do. I will honor my word so I can be known as trustworthy.
  8. Gentleness- I will strive to have gentleness in my speech, mannerisms, and conduct with others. This will include avoiding harsh speech, actions, and bullying.
  9. Self Control- I will strive to practice self control of my body and words, refraining from temptations that go against God’s Word or His ways. I will not use curse or swear words, offensive slang words, or take the Lord’s name in vain (which means to use God’s name when you’re not really talking to or about God).

As a member of CGCHE:
  • I will dress appropriately and modestly and will refrain from wearing clothing that exposes an inappropriate amount of skin or is sexually provocative.
  • I understand that clothing should not include any messages or pictures that would be considered as incompatible with the Christian faith, including clothing with political affiliations, clothing that condones drug/alcohol/or tobacco use, or clothing that promotes messages that are contrary to Biblical values.
  • I understand that alcohol, illegal drugs, wrongly used prescription drugs, vaping, and tobacco are strictly prohibited from any CGCHE function.
  • I agree to respect the property at which any CGCHE event takes place, which includes not taking any part in vandalism, theft, or abuse of the property.

Accessibility

This year we plan to be more accessible to the families in our group by hosting online activities led by our members via Zoom or a similar platform.

We will also be holding the monthy Board Meetings at a local park in order to have a monthly Park Day where you can be guaranteed that other member families will be there. Members are free to observe and participate in the board meeting but may also choose to just relax and socialize.

We encourage you to consider making plans to carpool with other members who may have transportation challenges or would just like to conserve resources. 


CGCHE is a 100% parent led organization relying on it’s members to plan and organize everything we do. That means the ball is in your court!

We will be sending out a Signup Genius form to find out which activities your family would like to lead or help with this year. Please plan to lead at least one activity in the upcoming year and to help out with one or more major events (such as the Christmas Party or Field Day).

Payment Instructions

This is a one-time payment for the 2025- 2026 school year (August to July).

The price of membership covers all members of the immediate family and grandparents.

The cost of membership is adjusted according to when you join. See the list below to determine your costs.

**When calculating prorated membership dues, count the current month if the date falls between the 1st – 15th of the month.  Otherwise, begin with the next month. For example, if today’s were February 16th, the membership fee to cover the rest of the year would be $15 ($5/month for March, April, and May – with June and July being free).**

We understand that there are periods when families are unable to participate and lead as fully as they would like to, perhaps due to illness or a new baby. For this reason we are offering an opt-out fee of $25 if you are truly unable to lead one event in this season. We trust our families to use this sparingly so our children still get many options throughout the year.
