Statement of Faith

A Biblical Worldview

Becoming Homeschool Collective is a Christ-centered community rooted in the truth of God’s Word. Our beliefs shape the heart of our program, the way we serve families, and the environment we seek to create. Everything we do, we do to to glorify Christ.

While our teachers and leaders share Christian faith, Becoming Homeschool Collective welcomes all homeschooling families who are respectful of our beliefs and the environment we strive to create. It is our joy to have you join us.

We Believe:

  • The Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the foundation for truth and the guide for how we live, teach, and lead.
“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching…” — 2 Timothy 3:16–17
“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” — Psalm 119:105

  • In one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—each fully God and working together in perfect unity.
“Go therefore and make disciples… baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” — Matthew 28:19
“Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.” — Deuteronomy 6:4

  • Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man. He lived a sinless life, died for our sins, and was raised to life again. Through Him alone, we are offered salvation and restored relationship with God.
“The Word became flesh and dwelt among us…” — John 1:14
    “He committed no sin…” — 1 Peter 2:22
“He is not here, for he has risen…” — Matthew 28:6
“I am the way, and the truth, and the life…” — John 14:6

  • Salvation is a gift of grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone—not by works, but by the mercy of God.
“For by grace you have been saved through faith…” — Ephesians 2:8–9
“He saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness…” — Titus 3:5

  • The Holy Spirit dwells within believers, guiding, equipping, and transforming us to live according to God’s will.
“The Helper, the Holy Spirit… will teach you all things…” — John 14:26
“For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.” — Romans 8:14

  • The Church is the body of Christ, made up of believers who are called to live in community, encourage one another, and reflect God’s love in the world.
“Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it.” — 1 Corinthians 12:27
“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works…” — Hebrews 10:24–25

  • Parents are the primary educators and disciplers of their children. Our role is to come alongside families in support—not to replace that responsibility.
“These words… you shall teach them diligently to your children…” — Deuteronomy 6:6–7
“Fathers… bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.” — Ephesians 6:4

  • We are called to live lives marked by love, integrity, humility, and truth, reflecting Christ in our relationships and actions.
“Let your light shine before others…” — Matthew 5:16
“Do nothing from selfish ambition… in humility count others more significant…” — Philippians 2:3–4
