West Area Park Day
Guess what? Homeschooling is working!
This month, students can bring and feature something they've created over the school year. Because of the volumn of kids participating, it won't be a "show and tell", but students will be able to fill out a card to showcase along with their creation - stating their name, age, and a few other details. It'll be a fun time to encourage and be inspired!
The topic for our April meeting is: Reflecting and Assessing the School Year
At our first PEC West Meeting in September 2025, we discussed our personal homeschooling convictions and visions. Now it's time to reflect and assess how you've done in view of those! Where did you do well? Where you need to adjust course for next year? How have you've seen your children grow, and yourself grow? What a helpful discussion this will be, and hopefully super encouraging as well!
Where: Wellington Village Park (Pierson Park) 11700 Pierson Rd, Wellington, FL 33414; We meet at the large pavilion closest to the playground.
When: SECOND Friday of the month; August through May
Time: 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M.
*Parents: Encouragement, table discussion, fun community-building activies, and occasional field trips
*Kids: Play at the park and build friendships
*Teens: Possilbe speaker with activity to follow (topics TBA) and time to connect with other teens!
