Mrs. Shana Baloche To All Instructors

Shana Baloche has a B.A. in Early Childhood Education from Cedarville University and had a K-8 Teaching Certificate in NJ. After 5 years of teaching in the public school system, Shana left teaching, as she and her husband started their family. When their oldest was in kindergarten, they dove into homeschooling. Five children and 15 years later, they are still going strong, with their oldest recently having graduated high school. Shana and her children also love theatre, and as a result of their involvement, Shana started Set Designing seven years ago, and continues to do so for local theatre groups in the area. The Baloche family has always been a part of a co-op, and Shana has taught a variety of classes over the years. When it comes to English, whether reading, thinking, writing, speaking, or debating...Shana can't get enough! She loves helping students to: get excited about what they're reading; filter literature through a Biblical world-view; write for a purpose; practice expressing opinions in an educated & respectful way; and learn public speaking skills that they'll use for years to come.
