Mrs. Jaclyn Umholtz To All Instructors

Jaclyn Umholtz holds a Music Education degree from Lebanon Valley College.  She taught music for 3 and 1/2 years (in a Christian school as well as a public school district) until her oldest child was born in 2005.  She has taught piano, flute, and voice lessons in her home while being a stay-at-home mother and wife.  She began homeschooling her five children in 2009.  In 2011 Jaclyn and her family joined Cornerstone Homeschoolers, and she has taught at least one choir class ever since.  Her love for Jesus, music, and children have landed her roles with Sunday school, children's ministry, Bible study, and worship leader in the churches she has attended. More recently she is getting involved in music theater at Cavod Performing Arts.

Jaclyn married the love of her life, Joel, in 2002 and said good-bye to him in April 2021 when he went Home to worship Jesus face to face.  She and her family love to spend time together telling stories, laughing, or just sitting around the table talking.

She is excited to bring her love of Jesus and music to the Cornerstone Homeschoolers Upper Tier Family.
