New to Homeschooling

Homeschooling in Virginia is incredibly easy! There are only two primary requirements:

1. Notify your local school district of your intent to homeschool.

2. Provide the district with Proof of Progress at the end of the academic year.

More information about NOIs and PoP, as well as examples of these forms can be found here at VAHomeschoolers

Our Cooperative

CLC757 is a social enrichment cooperative, not an academic institution. We provide the 'fun stuff'—the hands-on projects, social connections, and messy experiments.

Our days are designed to spark curiosity and strengthen community. You will continue to cover your student's core academic needs at home. Think of us as the recess, the club, and the field trip of your homeschool week.

We are not a drop-off program. Caregivers remain on site and participate in all aspects of our co-op days.

Where We Are

We meet on Tuesdays (new for 26-27) in Western Branch for class days and offer field trips, park days, and other activities throughout the week. Our members travel from all over the Tidewater area.

Class days run from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Mornings focus on traditional classes, while afternoons have more social and community time.

We currently offer Beta Club for grades 4-12, hurling for all ages, and student-run clubs.
