Sign-Up Deadline: The last day to sign up AND pay for testing is Thursday, March 31st.
**Please note some grade levels will fill up. If you sign-up your child and pay and that grade level is full, you will be notified and issued a refund.
Package A:
Late Registration: PEC Members, $85; Non-PEC Members, $100

Testing Dates: April 25th and 26th (Monday and Tuesday)
Testing Time: Testing will begin promptly at 9am and end at 12pm. Arrive Early so you have time to use the restroom and get to your designated class BY 8:55am.
Subjects: Reading, Language, Math, Science, Social Studies (These tests are completed in two testing sessions.)
Package B:

Testing Dates: April 25th, 26th, and 28th (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday)
Testing Time: Testing on the 25th and 26th will begin promptly at 9am and end at 12pm. Testing on the 28th will begin at 9am and end at 10:30am. Arrive Early so you have time to use the restroom and get to your designated class BY 8:55am.
Subjects: Reading, Language, Math, Science, Social Studies—Day 1 and 2; Math Computation, Spelling, Language Mechanics, Vocabulary—Day 3 (These tests are completed in three testing sessions.)
ACT/SAT Test Score Review, High School Juniors and Seniors
Pricing: $20
Test Score Review: To set up test score review, email Heidi Rhodes at HRhodesReview@gmail.com.
High school juniors or seniors, who are dual enrolled in college courses or are using formal classes and have taken either the ACT or SAT, may opt out of Terra Nova testing and provide ACT/SAT test scores along with passing grades in English, Math, Science, and Social Studies.
Materials to Bring:
*Students should bring pencil(s), scrap paper, a book to read and healthy snacks for break time. Pencils and scrap paper will be available if you forget them!
*No Calculators, ear buds, iPods, iPads or any type of information transmitting device.
*Any child posing a discipline problem at any time during testing will be removed from the room. Parents will be notified and asked to pick up their child immediately. There will be no refund.
Important Information:
Students in grades 2 and 3 begin their testing experience with a pretest which familiarizes the student with how to mark answers and follow the teacher's instructions. Parents may remain with their student during pretesting (9:00 – 9:30am approximately), so please arrange babysitting for other siblings. If the student is not able to complete testing, $25 of the fee is non-refundable.
Palm Beach County Home Education Evaluation Form: This form should be printed for each child from the School District’s website. Please fill out the top portion and give to the teacher proctoring your student’s test. If you cannot print the form, ask the teacher in your child’s testing room for a blank one. If test results indicate "no progress," I (Heidi) will call you immediately and will not file the form unless directed. ***Test Scores are Never Submitted. To satisfy the Florida state law, Palm Beach, Broward, and Martin Counties provide a Home Education Evaluation Form, which I (Heidi) will submit. This form completes your annual evaluation requirement. Test scores and a letter of progress will be sent to you for your files approximately three weeks after testing.
