2021 Safety Fest

Add to Your Calendar: 04/24/2021 09:00 04/24/2021 14:00 America/New_York 2021 Safety Fest

THE 2021 SAFETY FESTIVAL WILL BE HELD SATURDAY, APRIL 24TH, 2021.

The 2021 Safety Festival will be held on Saturday, April 24 at Clover Park (home of the Mets).  We are planning for another great community event with live demonstrations by our First Responders, static displays, food trucks, kids zone and vendors.  Many of you were committed to last year’s event that was postponed a few times due to the pandemic.  We are asking everyone to recommit for this year so we can get an accurate count for the day of event set up.

Please visit the vendors page and fill out the vendor/sponsor form and send to us at your earliest convenience.  If you paid last year, we will honor that payment on this year’s event.

We will be following safety protocols that are recommended by the Health Dept as well as local First Responders.  They will include requesting everyone to wear a facemask, social distance when possible, use hand sanitizer.  We are planning to have one direction walkways set up around the booths.  The event will feature all things Safety related: home, driver, water, bike, pedestrian, pet, ID, school, hurricane safety and more. There will also be a Kids Zone including FREE Bounce Houses!

The event will include displays and demonstrations by local First Responders, subject to change depending on the pandemic, and include: the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office, St. Lucie County Fire District, Florida Fire Marshall’s Association, Port St. Lucie Police, Ft. Pierce Police, St. Lucie Mets, Fish and Wildlife, St. Lucie Safety Coalition, St. Lucie County Schools, United Veterans, Emergency Services, Blood Mobile and many others.

It will include a SWAT Team demonstration, a burn unit-fire demonstration, jaws-of-life demonstration, a kids zone, arts/crafts, food/drink, vendors and more.

OneBlood will be hosting a Blood Drive at the event.  Appointments must be made in advance.  You can schedule your time here: https://donor.oneblood.org/donor/schedules/drive_schedule/1082029

Set up for the event will be 7am-9am. The Safety Event will be open 9-2pm.

There is no cost for admission or parking.

A portion of the proceeds of the event will benefit The Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Lucie County.
