August 2012, Bay Area Performing Arts (BAPAC) began in the Bay Area as a branch of our sister co-op Galveston Homeschool Performing Arts Co-op (GHPAC) which was formed in 2003 and continues to meet on Galveston Island on Fridays.
We currently meet at Hope Church, located at 770 Pineloch Dr., on Thursdays teaching and training children in the arts. Classes start at 8:30AM and end at 2:00PM.
We offer instruction in choir, band, general music, recorder, music theory, beginning piano, guitar, strings, art, dance and drama.
A non-refundable registration deposit per family per year is due at time of registration and does go towards the $400-450 family max. The Family Max is determined by date of registration.
Classes range from $5 to $50 per child, per semester.
The Insurance Fee is $9 per person per year and is not included in the Family Max.
A background check that costs $16.95 every other year will be required for all adults that will be on campus. It's not included in the Family Max and must be completed by the August Parent Meeting. Your family will not be allowed to attend classes until this is completed. Registration for the school year will begin for current members April 1st and for new members July 1st.

While we are a Christian organization, this is not a requirement for participation in this co-op.
Parents participate each period in which their children are enrolled. Students do not have to enroll in all class periods. Parents are not required to have musical abilities to join or participate in the co-op.
