Statement of Faith

  • We believe the Bible to be God's inspired, infallible, authoritative Word. It is the sole authority of faith for the believer and is without error as originally given by God. John 17:17; 2 Timothy 3:16-17
  • We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Matthew 28:19; Ephesians 4:4-6
  • We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His substitutionary and atoning death through His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of God the Father, and His return in power and glory. John 1:1-4; Matthew 1:23
  • We believe that for the salvation of the lost and sinful man, Jesus is the only way to eternal life. Salvation from sin is by grace alone through faith alone in Jesus Christ. Luke 24:46-47; Romans 3:23
  • We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, whose presence and powers are necessary for believers to live godly lives and build the Body of Christ. John 3:5-8; Acts 1:8 and 4:31
  • We believe in the sanctity of human life and that each child is a gift from God, entrusted to their parents to be the primary educators, training them in accordance with God’s will and Word. We believe parents have the God-given responsibility for the care and training of their children. Psalm 139:13-16; Deuteronomy 6:6-7
  • We believe that God has established marriage as a lifelong, exclusive relationship between one man and one woman (based on their DNA) and that all intimate sexual activity outside the marriage relationship, whether heterosexual, homosexual, or otherwise, is immoral and therefore, sinful. We believe that marriage and families are ordained and defined by God. Genesis 2:18-25; 1 Corinthians 6:9-10
  • We believe that God wonderfully and immutably creates each person as male or female. These two distinct, complementary genders together reflect the image and nature of God. Rejection of one’s biological sex is a rejection of the image of God within that person. We believe that God created the human race male and female and that all conduct with the intent to adopt a gender other than one’s birth gender is immoral and therefore, sinful. Genesis 1:26-27; Deuteronomy 22:5

 

Our homeschool co-op is founded on the above Statement of Faith, which provides the biblical foundation for our mission, leadership, curriculum, and community life. We are an openly and unapologetic Christian group by design and, as such, will represent God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and other historically Christian principles.

We ask each participating family to read this Statement of Faith and sign the Annual Membership Renewal form, acknowledging that you understand the beliefs upon which our co-op is built. Your signature does not indicate that you personally affirm every point of the Statement of Faith. Rather, it signifies that you understand these are the sincerely held beliefs that guide our co-op and that you agree to respect them and refrain from promoting beliefs or teachings that are contrary to them while participating in co-op activities.

By signing the Annual Membership Renewal form, you acknowledge that you have read the Statement of Faith, understand that it serves as the foundation of our co-op, and agree to support a respectful, Christ-honoring environment consistent with these beliefs.
