Thursday Morning Co-Op Policies and Expectations

Co-op begins at 9:15 on the first and third Thursdays (see website calendar for holiday/MEA schedul-ing changes). All parents and students will stop at the check-in table to sign in and to grab their family nametags.

All students in grades K-9 should meet in the gym for our Opening Session where we will have the Pledge of Allegiance, an opening prayer, and a time of devotions before being dismissed to their classes.

Parents are expected to remain in the building for the entire morning from 9:15 until 11:30. For any exceptions, please chat with a member of the BRANCH Lead Team. If an absence is approved, each student must have a designated adult who is responsible for them during the time of Co-op each week and a member of the Leadership Team needs to be notified who that person will be. If we feel that a family is taking advantage of this exception, they might be asked to leave our co-op. We understand that things come up, but the schedule is available far in advance, so please prioritize being at co-op each time to do your part.

Parents will be scheduled to help in each of these areas throughout the year: morning set-up, class as-sistants, help in the nursery or Little Sprouts, hall monitors, and cleaning at the end of the morning. If you are unable to help in your assigned area, it is up to you to find a replacement and let Leadership know who is covering for you. If you have a preference for where you want to serve, let someone on Leadership know.

Our website is for parents of BRANCH students ONLY. This ensures the safety of our students and personal family information. If a family does not currently have a student in BRANCH, they will not be allowed to access the information on the website. Current teachers who might not have a student in BRANCH are also allowed to access our website since that is our main form of communication.
