Mr. Jeff Bader To All Instructors

Jeff has always been interested in the Arts & Sciences as a young person and while in High School started taking drawing and photography classes.  He constructed his own make-shift photography developing lab in his basement (black & white) as well as a simple place for science experiments.  Jeff completed his B.S. degree in Education with a major in Science at John Brown University and Missouri Baptist University.   He also completed a degree in the Fine arts and a Masters in Education with a focus on Gifted and Talented students (Southwest Baptist University and Maryville in St. Louis).   Jeff is married to Lisa Bader who also teaches at Homelink.   They have three children, two of whom are graduates of Homelink.    Jeff loves drawing & painting particularly in pastel.  Some of Jeff's favorite things to do in his spare time are:  Fishing for smallmouth, studies of Theology and early church history, running, hikes in nature & spending time with his family.  He enjoys home-improvement projects (Provided there is adequate time for the job).   Jeff grew up listening to and playing music with mountain dulcimer being his favorite instrument.  This will be Jeff’s 9th year offering upper level art classes and elementary science classes at Homelink.
