Shane Linenburger To All Instructors

Shane is a Wilderness Skills instructor from Kansas. Growing up inspired by books and TV, he studied every chance he got. When he was 19, he found a local survival school and signed up for his first class. He moved to Utah for the first time in 2018, and from there, his exposure to the greater Wilderness Skills community exploded. Shane moved to Arizona in 2019 to work for ANASAZI, a youth Wilderness Therapy program, and lived life on the trail for a week at a time for the next 21 months. Since then, Shane has had the pleasure of working for other wilderness programs in Utah and has taught the skills he loves most at gatherings such as Fire-to-Fire and Rabbitstick. Shane enjoys trail running and traveling in his live in Jeep.
