HOPE Spelling Bee
Calling all spellers! The HOPE Spelling Bee is back!
Register to showcase your spelling and presentation skills in this oral spelling bee. The winner will advance to the PWC regional spelling bee to be held in March. Because of this, only residents of Prince William County can participate. If you are a member, but live in Fairfax County, please contact FISHE for possible bee information.
Attached are a few guidelines. Please read and familiarize yourself. For a full set of eligibility rules please visit www.spellingbee.com
Students must not have turned 15 by August 31, 2014 nor passed beyond 8th grade on or before February 1, 2015. There is no minimum age requirement, however ALL spellers will compete in one group. There are no specific grade level rounds.
Registration Deadline is January 2, 2015. As soon as you register, I will email you the "National Bee School Spelling Bee Study List."
Parents, we want this to be a positive experience for our children. It is wonderful way for them to gain experience in public speaking.
