ATTN: If your family is a CHC member, please make sure you are logged into your account before registering. If you are not a CHC member, you DO NOT need to create a log in to register.
We are excited to offer a formal dinner and dance for homeschooled high school students (grades 9-12). Those connected to our Champaign homeschool community, are invited to join us at this event. Please note this is a non dating event and we encourage you to have a fun evening with friends.
Where: I-Hotel, 1900 S First St, Champaign, IL 61820
When: Saturday, May 18th. Doors open at 5:30pm, dinner will begin at 6pm. The event will end at 10:00pm.
Cost: $50 per student. Please be sure you are prepared to pay through the paypal link upon submitting your registration. If you are a non CHC member you will not be able to log back in and pay later.
Deadline to sign up: May 3, 2024, 11pm
Parking: Please park on the North East side of the hotel and enter through the North West entrance. Once inside the hotel, there will be signs to direct you.
By signing your student up for the dance you and your teen(s) agree to following expectations:
1. To obey and respect the event chaperones, and that if a dance chaperone has to give your student(s) a warning for an offense, they can be sent home for a repeat offense.
2. Student(s) understand that this is a non-dating event. (We understand there will be couples that attend, but the focus will not be on the dating couples. We want the dance to be focused on friendships and having fun as a group!)
3. Student(s) understand that there is to be limited physical display of affection at the dance (i.e. no kissing, excessive hugging, sitting on laps, etc.)
4. You and your student(s) agree to choose their attire with modesty and appropriateness in mind, keeping in mind to not put any stumbling blocks or obstacles in the way of your brother and sister in Christ.
CHC does request that there not be any deep V's in the front or back of dress attire.
5. You acknowledge and agree to not hold CHC or any board member, chaperone or adult in charge liable for your child leaving the dance once they have left the dance.
