MEET OUR 2023 

CHSA SOFTBALL COACHING STAFF:

CHSA 18U/Varsity Softball Head Coach, 

I am married and have 3 kids who are grown and have families of their own. I have played softball since I was 10 years old, after a couple years in league ball I joined a select team and then went on to play in high school. After high school I got married and stepped away from playing, I took a few years off and then I started coaching. I have been coaching for 15+ years. The passion that I carry for this sport is the motivation that has kept me going. Being able to impact a childs life and build up there confidence to give it 100% is something that I am passionate about and for them to become the best they can is something that you can't explain unless you have done it. I like working with a child that maybe isn't the "blue chip" and turning them into a beast and showing them that with work and dedication they can stand out and achieve their dreams just as much as the person next to them. 

My goal as a coach is not just for the players to be the best on the field but to impact their lives so they can carry the lessons from the field, off the field and implement them in their daily lives. If I can impact just one child that I cross paths with while coaching then I know I did my job. 

I am currently working on my degree to coach high school softball with a degree in kinesiology, a minor in coaching and also majoring in social work. When I am not coaching or working on my degree I am also a college scout and help players reach the collegiate level with my assistance. 

I am looking forward to coaching with CHSA and leaving a lasting impact with the players that work through the program. With God and a little bit of perseverance all things are possible.
