WELCOME TO CHEA!

Whether this is your first year to homeschool, or you are a seasoned veteran, we are glad you are interested in the Catoosa Home Education Association (CHEA). Our organization has been in existence for over 10 years.  CHEA's purpose is to assist, support and encourage families in Northwest GA and Southeast TN in their homeschooling endeavors. Regardless of your religious affiliation or your style of homeschooling, group membership is open to all homeschooling families. Our Board of Directors apply Christian principles for all counsel and decisions made on behalf of the group, however, we do not require that you sign a statement of faith to join the group.

We have many new and exciting plans for our group this year! We are a very active organization and are always adding new activities for our members to participate in.  We hope you will join us.  Thanks for considering membership in the Catoosa Home Education Association!

Our activities and events in the past have included the following:  Field Trips; Parties and get-togethers such as our Back to School Picnic, Christmas Party, Valentine's Day Party, Middle/High School Socials, and weekly get-togethers; Academic events such as a Geography Fair, Science Fair, History Fair, and Science Theater; Physical Activities such as P.E. and Field Day; Clubs such as Book Club, Art Club, Science Club, and Chess Club.

Note:  Activities are subject to change based on the interest level of members.
