Committee Information
Volunteers Make CHEA Possible!
Our homeschool group thrives because of the time, talents, and support of our amazing members. We rely on volunteers to help make our activities, events, clubs, and programs possible. Every helping hand makes a difference!
Party Committee
Plans fun celebrations and social activities throughout the school year. The committee works together to organize the details for CHEA parties, including our popular Valentine Skate Party and End-of-Year Swim Party.
Fairs Committee
Plans and organizes CHEA educational fairs where students can share and showcase what they have learned. Past fairs have included Science, History, Geography, Book, and Art Fairs, with opportunities for new ideas each year.
Field Trip & Events Committee
Plans educational field trips, nature walks, and special events throughout the school year. The committee may also organize community service projects, such as park cleanups. The goal is to plan at least two events each month.
Field Day Committee
Plans the behind-the-scenes details that make Field Day possible, including games, activities, and friendly competitions. Each family who participates in Field Day is asked to help with activities during the event.
Clubs Committee
Works together to create and organize ongoing clubs throughout the school year. Clubs give students opportunities to learn, explore their interests, develop skills, and socialize with other homeschoolers. Ideas include Art, Book Club, Newspaper/Journal, STEM, Nature & Exploring, Spelling Bee, and Speech & Debate.
