Classes Program Fees


Class fees vary depending on the category and subject of the class.

Typically, when broken down by each meeting date, class fees range between $8–$15 per class meeting.

  • Enrichment classes start at $110
  • Elective classes start at $135
  • Core classes start at $160

If a class requires additional materials (for example: art supplies, science lab supplies, gym equipment, special materials, etc.), the class fee may be higher.



Registration Timeline & Financial Commitment

Our classes are taught by instructors who prepare lessons, plan materials, and often purchase supplies based on their class rosters. Decisions about whether a class will run are also made based on registration numbers.

For these reasons, the regular registration deadline is when most planning decisions are made, and the late registration deadline is when class rosters are finalized. After this point, instructors are actively preparing for the semester and the program budget has been set.

Please register thoughtfully. Each class registration reserves a seat and affects instructor preparation, supply purchases, and whether a class is able to run. We finalize classes and budgets based on registration at the regular registration deadline.

Registration Deadlines

Regular Registration Deadline
The Friday six weeks before classes begin.

  • Classes may be added, dropped, or changed freely before this deadline.
  • Registration numbers at this point determine whether a class will run.
  • 50% of all class fees are due

Late Registration Period
Between the regular registration deadline and the late registration deadline:

  • Registration may still be available if space allows.
  • A $15 late fee per class will be added.
  • Some classes may no longer be available if they have filled or been canceled.

Late Registration Deadline
The Friday three weeks before classes begin.

  • Final day to register for classes.
  • Final day to make schedule changes.
  • After this deadline, class rosters are considered final so instructors can prepare and the program can operate as planned.



Payment Schedule

Class fees are paid in three installments.

  • Friday six weeks before classes, at the regular registration deadline – 50% of all class fees are due
  • Friday of the first week of classes – 25% of all class fees are due
  • Friday of the fourth week of classes – the final 25% of all class fees are due

Withdrawal Policy

Registering for a class reserves a seat and begins a financial commitment to that class according to the timeline below, whether or not payment has already been made.

  • Before the regular registration deadline (six weeks before classes begin): No financial commitment
  • After the regular registration deadline but before the late registration deadline (three weeks before classes begin): 25% financial commitment
  • After the late registration deadline through the end of the fourth week of classes: 50% financial commitment
  • After the fourth week of classes: Full class fee commitment
